Training Events for 2010

Training events are organised mainly for members but if the places are not filled non-members are welcome. We are getting concerns from members about the amount of places available at competitions and training, the committee find it difficult enough to obtain help for the current number of events organised, if more club members would become team players and volunteer their help at more events, more training and competition places could be provided.

Cross Country Clinic with Emily Gilruth May 16

at Kelsall Hill on May 16th 2010. An excellent opportunity for all those thinking of competing at the Area Horse Trials in June. Emily is one of the area's leading event riders, eventing professionally from intro to advance including Burghley last year. Each session will be one hour long with 3 or 4 horses per group costing £12 per horse.

Show Jumping Training with Bianca Bairstow

Further training sessions are going to be arranged with Bianca in March (dates to be confirmed as soon as Bianca finalises her competition schedule) at Delamere Manor Estate Stables, Cuddington Lane, Cuddington, Northwich Lessons will be held in groups of 2 over a full set of jump for joy show jumps on an all weather arena. Groups - 2'6" - 2'9", 2'9" – 3’, 3’ plus. Cost will be £15 each for 45 minutes. Advanced Dressage Training

We are currently looking to organise some dressage training with some advanced trainers. These are likely to cost around £60/£70 per session, depending upon training and venue.
