DUTY DAY SCHEME

As part of your membership we require that you fulfil at least two half-day duty sessions per year. The club cannot function unless each member takes their turn. DFRC will inform you when you will be needed. Choosing the dates in advance helps you avoid duties on days when you want to compete. If your horse is out of action why not phone the event or team organiser to volunteer your much needed help?

People who are not called upon for their chosen dates may be asked to transfer to Winter Dressage or Area 20 duties. Your Duty Day can be swapped with another member or substituted by another person, but it is your responsibility to arrange this. For guidance, Hunter Trial and ODE stewarding/ jump judging sessions will last about 3 hours. A full day fence judging will count as two duty days.

Have you done your duty?

Membership application/renewal may not be accepted if Duty Day commitments are not indicated and satisfied.

Entries from members who fail to fulfil duty days may be refused!
